Question I have cut the tops off of some carrots and trimmed the greens. I now have new grren shoots about 6" long. Right now I just have them sitting in water but what is next. I would like to grow new carrots from these but I am not sure what to do. Do I just plant it, the carrot top and all, or do I separatr the greens from the carrot and just plant the greens?
Thank you for your help.
Answer Dear Valerie:
Did you see any roots grow from these cuts? If not, that is the reason you can not grow them only from the shoots.
You got to buy some seeds to grow carrot. If you want to find out where to buy seeds, go to the internet and search vegetable seeds.
