Experience
I have had 14 guinea pigs in my life with more to come. I have volunteered at the local shelter just to work with the small animals on a weekly basis and I have been to countless vets to soak up there advice, as well as looking in my 50 something books on guinea pigs. I know almost everything I can wrap my head around about guinea pigs! Sometimes my husband, who is an exotic bird vet/guinea pig fanatic helps me with the questions to!

Question
what is wrong with your guinea pig if it is bleeding

Answer
Hello Chloe!
Good question! First off, here is a great site for any future questions you may have for a more immediate response:http://www.guinealynx.info/
Second, find the source of the bleeding. Is it from the vagina/penis or is it from a foot or nail? This is very important as a skin wound suggests fighting or a fall. Blood from the mouth or private area suggests internal problems like parasites or cancer.
When my guinea pigs got ovarian cysts and bladder cancer, they bled from there vagina. When they got in a scrap one of them bleed from the foot and the other from the nail. Gypsy, had a small cut on her left back foot that healed up fine after I cleaned it out with warm water. Shadows nail fell off so I put some 'Quik Stop' on it and she was fine.
If your guinea pig is bleeding than locate it and feel free to message me for further care advice!
