Guinea Pigs - guinea pig moths?

Question
our guinea pig cage gets surrounded by these little flying moth looking bugs.. we clean the cage at least once a week and im wondering what i can do about this im not sure if its from the food or the bedding... please help thankyou

Answer
hello,
You could try by cleaning the cage out twice a week, or maybe they are attracted to the smell of your guinea so you could try washign her. Or place the cage in a different spot because moths and flies like warm conditions, so warm, damp and smelly conditions would probably appeal more to them. You could also try taking your guinea out for about 2 hours and spray the room or cage with an anti replellent bug spray, but make sure the cage is clean by the time you put your guinea back
I hope this helps
