Question i have a 2 yr old female guinea pig in a cage with 2 other females an 8 mo old and a 2 mo old the 2 yr old has come down with a sneeze slightly crusty eyes and slight wheezing but shes still eating and drinking and acting normal im going to take her to a vet but i was wondering if i should take the other 2 also
Answer Hello,
I would suggest to take them all to the vets just to make sure the others haven't caught anything. It is good for them all to have regular checkups anyway so it won't do any harm to take them along. Keep a close eye on them and make sure the others don't catch any symptoms because that may mean it is contagious. If it is contagious then I would suggest separating them for a little while because it is more dangerous for the older ones as they don't have as good immune system. Make sure they are all eating and drinking all the time.
I hope this helped and please let me know how she gets on
