Question I have an Hawaiian Steel Duolian made by Dobro (not Gibson) and I would like to
know the year it year produced. The serial number is x7 184 93b Thank you...
Answer Hi, Rich--
The serial number indicates that the guitar was made in 1977 and was the 84th guitar made that year. The B stands for "metal".
In 1970 OMI bought the Dobro name and manufactured their own "Dobro" guitars with the traditional "Dobro" peghead sticker.
The model of guitar is not discernible from the serial number. Do you known the model of your guitar?
