Question i have a marshall valvestate 8100 head...i recently acquired a nice cabinet for free it is a bass cab..,it takes two 15 inch speakers.the amp says 4 ohms ,has two outs.so how do i get the correct speakers and make them match my amp??i know there are a few ways ,but which is the best
Answer Hey Danny, if your Valvestate is 8-ohms, then you would get 2 16 ohm speakers & wire them up in parallel. This would drop their combined impedance to 8 ohms & would match up perfect with your amp. Hope that helps, if you need anything else, just drop me a line.
