Guitar - General/Which guitar to buy.

am a beginner from india and want to buy an acoustic guitar in the range of $300-$400. I have an epiphone DR100 currently. How is yamaha fg700s, epiphone hummingbird and fender cd60ce? Please guide me considering i want a loud guitar as i like playing chords more.

Hi Shaleen, if you plan on ever playing live with your new guitar, go for the Fender or the Epiphone, as they both have outputs on them for electric. If you want louder acoustic volume, go for the Hummingbird. If you can find any Seagull acoustics out there, (Made by Godin) they make amazing guitars that are very inexpensive as well. Seagulls sound beautiful acoustically, often rivalling guitars 3 or 4 times their price. Hope that helps, if you need anything else, just drop me a line.
Peace - J.

I have been playing guitar for over 30 years & tour regularly with my band River City Junction. We play a mix of Blues, Jazz, Funk, Motown, R&B & Classic Rock so I can help answer any questions related to these genres as well. I also have extensive experience using many different brands of guitars, amplifiers & effects. I do most of my own work on my guitars, & I also build & repair my own pedals & tube amps, so I can help with questions of a technical nature with regards to these subjects as well.
