About Bill Ruxton
Expertise
What kind of old guitar do I have? Is it valuable? How old is it? Where was it made? Is it worth repairing? Advice on buying new or used guitars, accessories, etc. [Note: While I can give some general info on approximate values of types of instruments, neither I nor anyone else can do an "appraisal" without actually seeing and handling the instrument] I have almost 40 years` experience as a player and afficianado. If I don`t have an answer myself, I can often refer people to other authoritative sources.

Question
I have a BC Rich Model B-N made in Korea purchased about 15 years ago. Can you tell me anything about it?

Answer
Dear Travis,

I can't tell you anything specific about your particular model.  Is it an acoustic guitar? (Most of the B.C. Rich acoustic guitars have a "B" prefix in the model number).

The Korean-made models are utility instruments, and are not sought after by collectors or players.

A short history of B. C. Rich guitars is at:
http://www.vintageguitar.com/brands/details.asp?ID=58

You can also find owners' reviews of various B. C. Rich models at www.harmonycentral.com

If it suits your ears, hands, and eyes, that's all you8 can ask of any guitar.

Hope this helps.  Have fun with it,

Bill
