Just to correct this answer...les paul juniors are used by pro guitarists as much as 'children and girls'...Leslie West (from 'Mountain') as one example. These were nice guitars and currently priced at around $800- $1000 (2009)

That is incorrect, the Les Paul Jr. is standard Les Paul size at 24 3/4" (by comparison strats are 25 1/2" standard. Bob Marley and John Lennon, along with 100's of other famous guitarist play Les Paul Jr's. With this particular guitar I would not ever sell it for $300. Take no less than $800 or keep it. The good thing about Gibsons is they appreciate over time if they are well cared for. This in an American made true Gibson guitar with some of the best humberbuckers and hardware Gibson has to offer. This guitar will be worth a lot of money if your're patient and hang on to it. #1 its discontiuned, makes it rare #2 it has special features mixed that no other Les Paul has. for instance - Les Paul Jr. Special w/ 490R and 498T humbuckers, Mini trapazoid inlays, etc. This makes for a unique instrument that is getting rarer.

The Les Paul Junior Special w/humbuckers is NOT marketed toward anyone except those who want a Les Paul at an affordable price. I own one (I'm a guy) and it looks and sounds incredible. Where did the info about marketing to woman and children come from?
