Guitar Music - Slide guitar

Expert: Patrick - 5/18/2008

Question
Just learning to play guitar i love the sound of slide guitar whats the best way to learn that style

Answer
Hey Don,

Well, not being an expert slide player, all I can tell you is that
the slide guitar is not only one of my favorite sounds, it will also teach you different tuning methods in various keys. I would try your local music store and see if they have someone that teaches slide.
There are other avenues on the net. Google: Learning slide guitar. Don't fall for the " Buy this book or tape and become an expert slide player" stuff. Find the sites that are put together by people who do it because they love it. Those sites are usually free and have lots of info.

Most of all, Don't Give Up!

Keep Pickin'

Patrick
