Question I recently bought a Vox Cambridge 30 with 10" Celestian Bulldog speaker. I then bought a used Telecaster and when I told the guy I had a Vox amp, he showed me his "project". It is an old Vox 2-12" amplifier cabinet with one 12" Celestian he was going to make into a satellite speaker. I bought it from him and it needs major Tolex work. I need info on replacing tolex, gold piping? Will slightly modify the cabinet top and rear also. I only paid $25 for it including the speaker, so it's definitely worth the effort. Thanks

sounds like a great find to me. Unfortunately, I am not up on restoration of amps. I believe that you can find out just about anything you need to know by web searching and at your local music store. Musical instrument repair shops and audio shops might be another good place to start.
Search vintage/and/or custom amp sites. They are out there.
