I am not a legal expert, but I have knowledge of the music business and I keep up with the changes in the business.

I have a band that has worked together for 20years and we still make our living playing music. I love this business and like to help others learn about this exciting business.
Question My daughter is 7 years old and will be taking some guitar lessons next week. I still have my old Hondo II (H 90 N) guitar and was hoping that would be a good one for her to start out with. The strings have been replaced and it has been retuned. What is your opinion of this guitar for her just starting out?
Answer Hi Andrea,
Without looking at the guitar, if it has a straight neck and the strings are fairly easy to push to the frets, go for it. If you are unsure, take it to someone you can trust who would know. Chances are it's just fine for a new player. Make sure that her fingers can reach at least two to three frets. Then you should be good to go. Then if she decides that the guitar isn't what she likes, you haven't spend a lot of money.
