Question Hi Patrick im a musician from Argentina.Im going to the wedding of one good friend in California, and he wants that i play some classical songs from latinamerica. I play classic spanish rock. My question is this:
1.- What songs do u recommend that i play? because not all of the people its latin and maybe they don't like it.
2.- If ill wanted to play in some club or party or something did i need a permission or something? it would be great to fund my trip. Thanks
Answer Hi Tony,
You should play the music that you are comfortable with. As you listen to more America music , then learn what people are listening to and like and work that into what you do. If you are good, people will like what you do.
As far as I know, the clubs have the responsibility to be licensed with ASCAP or BMI.You should not have to worry about that.
