Question This question might be a bit off topic for you, but I'm thinking of starting a sweet band, but the problem is I don't know which group to fashion our band after. I've narrowed it down to Creed and Nickelback, but i'm not sure which band carries more street cred. I love Creed, but geez, I LOVE NICKELBACK! Which of the two bands (if you could ONLY choose between these two) would you choose and why?

Well your right, I don't know a lot about either group, but I do know that as a Christian, I would have to go with Creed. NickelBack is a great band, I'm not sure of the message that their songs convey. As far as popularity, NickelBack is probably more of a street type band or should I say, carries more street cred? You would really need a great lead singer to cover them.
I say, go with your heart.But remember that variety carries a lot of weight and original songs get you further, as long as they are good.
