I could not possible agree with GHC MORE on this topic. Spending $600 on a new shotgun that may never be fired is way excessive. Most shotgun owners are responsible men and women that take good care of their firearms, and used guns are usually going to be reasonably clean, affordable and function just as well as a new one. Heck, some used guns may even shoot better/more true than their new model because the "bugs" of the first couple hundred blasts have already been worked out. JMO.  :-)
