I want know can i fire a .22WMR from a .22LR rifel.
Want to buy a FWB Mode 2700 Benchrest Rifle for Sport. I just want to know whether i can fire a .22WMR from the same.
1) If not then can you please guid me on why i cannot?
2) Is there a sport rifle which can fire bothe of them i.e. .22LR and .22WMR?

Answer No you cannot shoot .22mag. from a .22LR gun, it won't fit, the mag is longer and actually .001-.002 bigger diameter, also the twist rate of the barrel is different. If you did manage to jam it in and fire it, if it's an older gun it would blow the gun apart as the pressure is much higher.
