Question
I am in to learning about hand guns and also the laws about about firing them.I want to be able to know about them.I also want to be able to fire them.I want to know the age limit of firing hand guns and the age limit of owning one? I live in Carolina.
Carolina is a pro-gun state which is good. Any local gun club probably has classes via the NRA in handgun and general use. I recommend the Home Firearm Safety class as it covers handguns, long guns and shotguns. Federally you can't purchase a rifle/shotgun till 18yo, 21 for a handgun. There is no restriction on you shooting one, and actually at leasy here in NH, with my permission out hunting or whatever I can let my kids have a handgun on their hip. Good luck.
