Question
WHAT IS BEST FOR CCW FROM THIS LIST:
CZ P-01
CZ 2075
CZ 83
AS YOU CAN SEE I AM A FAN OF CZ.

Answer
CZ is an excellent product, Czechoslovakia, with Sellier and Bellot is also the worlds largest producer of ammo. The only downside to the 83, although any would be a fine choice, is that it's chambered in .32 or .380, both of which are adequate personal defense rounds but neither of which you can buy cheap in bulk at Walmart! Good thing about 9mm is cost and availability of ammo.  When one asks "what's the best gun for personal defense?" The answer is "The one in your hand!", shot placement is most important, and proper shot placement comes from lots of practice with your firearm, which can get expensive. Another option to consider, as I've shot one and now I want one, is the new AR-24 from Armalite. It's new and the owner of Armalite, a fan of the CZ and 1911's, developed this as the best of both worlds. It's strength, to me, is the fact that it is all steel, I'm old fashioned and like steel and wood over alloy or plastic, though they both are fine. I know the AR-24 comes in a full and compact version, has a beavertail grip, etc, check it out, it looks like a CZ's cousin, and retail price is pretty decent. It is new however, and CZ has been proven for years. Thanks for the question.
