Question I purchased a S&W 30.06 bolt action wooden stock about 10 years ago trying to get into deer hunting. Unfortunately being in the military I haven't been able to and I am now looking at selling the gun. Unfortunately no one can tell me what I should ask since you can't get a price guide without buying a $30.00 book thats not even guaranteed to have it in there.
Answer They were available in model A-E, standard is an A, 23 3/4" barrel, monte-carlo stock, about $300. in 95%, up to E which is $360. in like condition. These were made by Husqvarna in Sweden. Never seen one myself. They were produced 1969-1972. The price I gave is retail. If you sell to a gunshop, it's 25-35% less. Thanks for the question.
