Actually, the rifle in question was made after the war, in 1949 as indicated.
I have one sitting beside me now marked No4 Mk2(F)with a PF367xxx serial number. It was made (and marked) 9/53.
Great Britain made these rifles for at least 10 years after WW II for their allies and colonies.
research indicates my rifle was made for the Irish Republic but never delivered.

If your rifle is indeed a Post War Fazackerly build S/N PF367,XXX, then it was built for the Burmese Govt. in 1954.
