Question
Paul,
Need your help in deciding gun values.  I have three that I am looking to sell.  The first is a Steyr A-bolt 7mm Rem mag w/ a Leupold Vari-X three 4.5-14, --perfect. Second is  Sako 6ppc w/ Leupold Vari-X three 6.5-20 with widage and elevation dials, and lastly a one owner Weatherby Mark V, German made, 240 mag., Leupold Vari-X three 6.5-20 in very good condition.  The stock is magnificent and perfect.
Thank you so much for the service that you provide for the common guy out here.  I appreciate you very much.

Mike

Answer
On average the Steyr would be about $8-900., adding $200. for the scope, though scopes are almost better sold seperately. The Sako is about $1250. mint, $650. in 90% condition, again about $250.-300. for the scope. The Weatherby is about $1500. to which is added 15-25% because it is German (J.P. Sauer) manufacture, scope again adds $250.-300.. Is it a Custom? Those are worth about double.  Nice guns you have for sale. Of course understand I am giving you retail prices, should you sell them yourself. If you bring them to a gunshop they will offer 25-35% less to you, as they need to make something. Consignment may be a better option. I sell on consignment online and take 10% plus auction fees but I'm on the low side. Thanks and good luck.
