Question
I acquired a p38 which has different serial numbers on the slide, frame, and barrel. How does this affect the value of the gun.Where could I find the value of the gun.

Answer
It does affect value, probably the gun is a put-together, which from a functioning/shooting aspect is fine, but hurts the collectbility/value. If it is a WWII nazi marked P-38 it's still worth around $400.+/-, if actually a post war P1 (alloy frame P38) it's worth $200. less basically. Thanks.
