Good and hard question, which everyone has personal and different answer, in my personal opinion, after AFD everything went wrong, there're so many problems such as musical differences, "ego" problems, that kind of stuff. They let Steven Adler go, and then Izzy left, according to Slash, Izzy was the link between Axl and him.
After the release of "The Spaghetti Incident", Slash wanted to do a club tour with the band. Axl refused, wanting to take time off touring.
