Question
hi, its Joe to be more specific on my question about what music influenced them when they were younger. i would like to know about  the old line up.

Answer
Hola Joe!

Great you ask me again, let's see:

There are so many bands, which you can see their influence on them and on the band at that time. Each of them has their own musical taste and different personalities.

Axl: Aerosmith, Nazareth, Thin Lizzy, Hanoi Rocks, Elton John, Electric Light Orchestra, Cheap Trick, Led Zepelin, Black Zabath.

Izzy: Grand Funk Railroad, New York Dolls, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Ramones, Sex Pistols.

In a recent interview Izzy said this:

QUESTION: "Which his five favourite albums are. So choose five albums that have had great impact in your life, please.

IZZY: "Dark Side Of The Moon" by Pink Floyd, "Toys In The Attic" by Aerosmith, "Never Mind The Bollocks" by Sex Pistols, "Road To Ruin" by Ramons and "Exile On Main Street" by The Rolling Stones."

Slash: Kiss, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin.

Duff: Sex Pistols, Led Zeppelin, Prince, Kiss, New York Dolls, Iggy Pop, Johnny Thunders, Damned, Misfits.

Steven: Kiss, John Bonham, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith.

In an interview Mike Clink describe them back then in that way: "Axl listened to music constantly, and one of the bands he loved was Metallica, and Izzy was a Dixie Dreg guy. Duff was a Misfits - style punk guy, Slash was a Rolling Stone guy and Steve enjoyed all of the above".

Well anything else you wanna know, doubt, a question, let me know, you know I'd be glad to help you, be cool!  ;).

Thanks for ask, take care a lot, Adios!!!
