in an interview after the original drummer, adler, left the band axl was talking about how he was involved in many scary things he wants nothing to do with. what did he really mean by that? also i read somewhere that adler had shot up erin with some kind of drug and she ended up in the hospital with axl by her side.. can u give more details about that?

Well, Steven Adler was involved with drugs. Some say he was a dealer himself. He tried to kill himself a lot of times. He also nearly killed Erin Everly.
Once, probably after a fight with Axl, Erin and one of her friends came over to Steven's house. She was in a horrible mood. Steven gave her some drugs. It's important to mention that Erin was never a drug user herself. Steven shot her up with a speedball - a mixture of heroin and cocaine. Erin ended up in the emergency room, her heart stopped twice, members of her family wanted to kill Steven for doing this to her, but Axl stopped them from doing that.
Steven's version is that Erin came to him while under some drug's influence. In a recent interview to Metalsludge, he denied giving Erin these drugs, for the following reasons:
1 - Why would a junkie give his precious heroin to someone else?
and 2 - Why should he hurt his friend's girlfriend.
But this is useless, since it is well known that he indeed shot Erin up, and in the interview I mentioned above - Steven lied a lot. That's just stupid of him to deny this.
