Question
For my vaults, I currently do tsuks and handspring fronts. I am moving towards doing the handspring front primarily but I need help with progression to a bigger vault. I'm trying for a barani out (half twist on the front after the first handspring) but I'm always lost in the air. Where and how should I begin the twist? Thank you for your help.

Answer
Mike-

If you have access to a trampoline or mini-tramp, use these to help with the air sense. You want to get to the point where you can do double front brani out. This will be very similar to the handspring front 1/2.

Vaulting into a pit will help with development. If you don't have one at your gym, you will limit your development. The obvious progressions are to learn how to twist the Tsuk. Also work toward double from on the handspring side.
