Question
i am going into level 7 and i always find either i eat to much before practice or to less i want to always feel my best for practice so i can work hard but sometimes i get head aches or stomach aches and i want to get around this problem any sugestions????
thanx abby

Answer
Abigail, I found that carbohydrates always gave me energy for workouts and were usually light on the stomach. I tried to eat right but usually avoided it.... I also ate way too much junk when i was younger ...
Headaches usually mean a couple of things, stress or lack of vitamins... usually magnesium. make sure you take a multiple vitamin especially if you don't get to eat right. Perhaps you may have an allergy to some food group like milk or gluten, you might be lactose intolerant. there are several things that could cause your stomach to be upset. Try writing EVERYTHING you eat in a notebook for a week. then go back and evaluate what you are eating even a piece of gum or a glass of water. this may help you get a handle on why you are having headaches and stomach aches.
Try eating large in the morning medium at lunch and small in the evenings. it always helped my day. Also in your notebook you might try writing down the ingredients of what you eat, look on the package, and try to avoid the chemicals that are over the recommended daily amounts.. like too much Sodium or Sugar or other things that are crammed into todays food products. You might try watching Caffeine intake and avoiding  most processed and fried foods... in short try to eat healthy and in moderation. and DRINK LOTS OF WATER.
Good luck let me know if this helps,
TF
