Expert: Pam Rafe-Borges - 6/21/2009

Question
Okay, so i just moved up to level 6 about 1 month ago, We're starting to learn flyaways. When my coach was spotting me i alawys let go tooo early and land on my knees.I don't know when to let go. Also i dont get when you let go if you're supposed to let go then tuck or do them at the same time..

Answer
Hi Allison,

I know learning a skill like this can be frustrating.  You just need to trust yourself (and your coach) to hang on a little longer.  You need to let go as you are finishing the rise of the swing, then you tuck.

Good luck and Have FUN!
Pam
