About LL
Expertise
I can answer any big picture questions dealing with women`s gymnastics from technique to what goes on "behind the scenes". The main area I won`t be much help in is code of points and regulations dealing with the club and collegiate realm.

Experience
I was a gymnast for 14 years. Competed at the elite level for 6 years and then at the division 1 collegiate level for 4 years. I have participated in national team training camps, competed at the Jr. Pan Am Games, World University Team Trials, U.S. Olympic Festival, among others.

Gymnastics - Music

Expert: LL - 5/22/2004

Question
I have my first gym competition in September. I need some music for my pairs sports acro routine. Where can I find some and what sort of thing would you recommend? I live in England. Thanks

Answer
Cahterine-

Unfortunately, I can't be of much help, especially because of your location.  However, when choosing music, make sure it is something that you really like because you will be forced to hear it over and over again when training.  You can find someone who edits music and tell them your critieria (i.e. must be over 1 min. 15 secs. in length, must have change of speed, etc.).  Bring them pieces of music and they should be able to "cut" something out for you.  Hopefully, this is at least somewhat helpful.  Good luck in your competition!
