Gymnastics/bar dismounts

That is actually a hecht-back dismount...

on the women's bars the Hehct was a bent hip 3/4 backward hipcircle. When the hips were opened (timed to occur with the spring of the bar) they'd simply pop up and over the bar to a stand. The skill can also be done from a free hipcircle - and now like the men do it on high bar from long hanging giant swing from undergrip or mixed grip - some use a variation of it today - the Markelov release/regrasp is a form of a Hecht.

Women's gymnastics is what I spent my life doing. I can tell you anything you want to know from a personal aspect. I can talk to you about how I achieved the success I did, the struggles it took, the injuries I had, how the sport affected my social life and my body, or anything else you might be able to dream up.
