Question
hi.  I have been asked to perform a 1 minute floor exercise for my physical education pgce (secondary teaching) interview.  gymnastics is not m,y speciality and they want me to perform a routine showing flight, inversion, rotation and balance.  Could you possibly give me an idea of what kind of sequence i should perform and what the best techniques are to include?

Answer
Emma,
Hi i will give you the level 3 routine for usag. some of it you might not be able to do but you can inprovise.

handstand forward roll, round off, backward roll,
back bend if you cant do that do a cartwheel. front leg balance which means lift your leg in front for like 3 seconds.forward chasse, straight leg leap, half turn on toe, straight jump, tuck jump, pose.
that will give you a good start on that i hope all goes well.
