Question
I need some help I know HTML but now they have CSS.

In HTML I know I can set my text on my webpage to display in peoples Browser like this

<P><font size ="16"> I type my text here.</font></P>

Or I can set it like this in CSS

<p style="font-family:Times New Roman;
font-size:medium;"> I type my text here</P>

I need to know will these two ways of setting font size still work?

I love my first HTML way thanks?

Answer
The best way to find out if something works is to test it and see.

The first way will still work on most browsers, but is old and hard to maintain.  The correct way is to separate structure (HTML) from presentation (CSS) and use the second method.  Better yet, use an external CSS stylesheet so you can reuse your CSS.

Experience

Experience in the area I have been a web designer/developer since 1997. I started developing websites with HTML 3.2 and using tables for layout. In 2006 I received my degree in Computational Media, and now work full time as a Webmaster and Interactive Media Author, as well as teaching continuing education courses on HTML, CSS and ActionScripting at my local college. Currently I design with XHTML and CSS - no tables and much cleaner and more accessible code and allows the designer more freedom and flexibility than tables.
