You are here:

Hair Color/Flyaways another color.

Hi so my name is Iman and I have always had dark brown hair (basically "black" but nowadays people keep asking me if I have dyed my hair because my flyaways are light brown? how can this be? im confused? they kust keep getting longer and more pieces are turning the same color?
P.s I have never died my hair.

Dear Iman,

I'm not sure what you mean by "flyaways" reference to the lighter brown, it's simply hair that is losing it's melanin which gives color to you hair. It is an aging process and slowly that hair will turn gray.  In reference to anything that is getting got me confused here. Hair is supposed to get longer unless you cut it. I wouldn't worry about anything here, it sounds to me like everything is right on schedule as it should be. Your hair is growing and the lighter pieces are eventually going to get lighter until you begin to see gray. Just enjoy the fact, that you have hair on your head:)
