Question
Hi dear Dr Fisher
I'm men and 24 years old.mor than 15 month ago i had several stress after that time all my hair in scalp thin and change color and start to fall but my hair line is normal.my skin also very sensitive to sunlight also some times my eyebrow and lashes fall.
my scalp painful and oily.
Thank you and best regards!

Answer
The best thing to do is to have a scalp biopsy to determine what type of hair loss your have.  You could have male pattern hair loss which is genetic or you could have a telogen effluvium which is a condition where the hair goes into a shedding phase.  Or you could have a combination of both male pattern hair loss and telogen effluvium together.  The scalp biopsy will direct the doctor on how to treat your hair loss.
