I still find a lot of diffuse shedding and have talked to you before.  I have noticed that I have a high forehead, but honestly my sides/forehead have been like this since at least I was 13.  I couldn't find any baby pictures.  But does this look like a receding hairline?   I'm so stressed and depressed about this.

Answer
Excessive diffuse shedding is an indication of telogen effluvium. If the condition lasts more than six months it is considered chronic--indicating some sort of internal imbalance that needs to be corrected. It may be something minor and easily corrected such as a nutritional deficiency, or something that needs medical attention such as thyroid imbalance.
Telogen effluvium does not cause high forehead or receding hair line. Your photo does not indicate an obvious hair loss disorder. If your hair line has not changed since you were 13, it may be just the way your hair line is. I have linked an article on receding hair line in women (and temple and edge hair loss) that you may read. I don't think it applies to you though.
You appear to have quite a bit of hair. Do you feel like the volume of your hair is decreasing? Can you be more specific about " a lot of diffuse shedding?" A person who washes hair everyday will notice less fallen strands after shampooing than a person who washes hair less often.
You can try using essential oil scalp treatments in the temple and hairline area to try to stimulate new, thicker and healthier growth in that area. The article linked below explains how essential oils can be used as an effective natural hair loss remedy.
Please let me know if I can help you further.
