Answer
Dear

Whole scalp hair loss occurs only in

1. Serious physical or mental illness.
2. Chemical or Heat apply on hair or Scalp.
3. Chlorine in bath water.
4. Nutritional deficiency.
5. Ultraviolet light.

In male pattern baldness (MPB) only frontal & vertex hairs are thin or sparse.Hairs on back & sides of the scalp are not affected by MPB, or Androgenic alopecia (AGA).In male pattern baldness (MPB)there is usually a positive family history of baldness.
