Hello.
I have had this weird small lump about the size of a pencil eraser for quite some time but never took a picture of it to see what it looks like until recently and it scared me a bit because i thought it was nothing but it looks like something and i was wondering if i should take it seriously or if it could be anything bad? I have 2 pictures of it and put red circles around the lump (best i could do on my own) oh and the lump is hard and it doesn't hurt too much when i press it and my hair does feel a little thinner on that side but that could just be me :/. so should i go get this checked out at the doctor? I know this question is all over the place but i'm really nervous and scared about it now that i've seen it. Thanks.

Answer
This is most likely a ringworm infection called Tinea Capitis with Kerion.
You should see a dermatologist to get the diagnosis confirmed and get the right antibiotic for it.
At these sites you can read about this and see photos as well.
