Answer The white bumps you describe on the hair is normal. The white bump is the hair follicle. If you are developing puss filled pimples then you need to treat with topical antibiotics. Hair loss has many causes: thyroid disease, hormonal abnormalities, oral medicaitons, severe stress, systemic diseases like lupus, going on or off of birth control pills.
