This is Plastic Surgeon Dr Rajesh Rajput, India. I am using 1 mg Finasteride once in three days in all male patients for hair loss and for good hair growth before and after a hair transplant. Other days I use iron, calcium, antioxidants and amino acids to build up the hair. I call it Cyclical medicine. Hair improves in 2-4 months and 60% of my patients upto Grade lV do not require hair transplant.

Neither are effective at treating temple loss at this stage. Both are effective at treating the frontal, mid-scalp, and crown regions.

Taking any dosage over 1mg Finasteride daily will not increase the fight against further loss.

However, 5% minoxidil is more effective than 2%, but may cause more irritation.

Use a good shampoo like Nizoral, and make sure you r scalp is undamaged and healthy for best results with all of the hair-loss products.
