I have started losing hair on my calves. I am 50 y.o.

Most of the people that I see with hair loss on the calves is caused by clothing rubbing on the skin thus reducing hair count. Other causes of hair loss include oral medications or vascular problems where the hair does not get enough nutrients and the hair dies. I recommend you visit your local dermatologist for the correct diagnosis of your hair loss.
