Question I have been using the frost and tip hair dye and method for six years. While today when i used it, my hair turned bright orange. Then when trying to cover it up with a ligth brown it turned my hair a bluish/gray color :( i dont know what to do to fix it and i am absolutely sick. Please help!!!
Answer Bathany,
You need to go to a salon. Don't even try to fix this yourself. The off tone has to be lifted out before anything else can be done. Then, if you want it back close to your natural colour it will have to be repigmentized or filled and then tinted back (this is why it went blue grey in the first place, just applying brown over blonde). Then if you'd like, new highlights can be added properly. This is definitely NOT a home job.
best of luck to you.
