Question I have a diamond shaped face and I want to get a chin-length haircut like Victoria Beckham's bob and I was wondering if that would look ok on my face shape or not.
Thank you!
Answer Lauren,
Styling for facial shape works on the premise that the accepted standard is an oval face shape. For anything else you want to build the hair around the face to create the illusion of an oval.
For a diamond shaped face, that cut would make it look pointier at the chin. You want to keep a bit of width at the lower cheek and chin to make it look wider and less pointed. Remember, think in terms of creating an oval silhouette.
Best of luck to you.
