Question First my hair is cut in a bob and I'm thinking about using a brown burgundy color to color my hair and putting blonde highlights on it I'm not sure if I should do streaks or just color the underneath of my hair or where to put the streaks of blonde if thats what i decide to do what is your suggestion right now my hair is light brown with blonde highlights please help.
Answer Penny,
First you have to decide on whaht effect you want. Secondly, and more important, is that you must understand that it's not a good idea to change your colour look too oftenm especially the way you're thinking of doing. It's easy to wind up with serious damage.
If you decide to do the burgundy brown with highlights, what your stylist will have to do is first foil the highlights, trying to preserve as much present highlighting as possible, then repigmentizing and colouring the remaining hair around the foils to the burgundy brown. This would avoid colouring and then re-lightening the highlights, which would create more damage.
Remember, the more processes done to the hair, the more damage.
Best of luck to you.
