Hairstyling - Colored hair Dark Brown
Expert: Don Orlando - 10/29/2009
Question I have been getting highlight for about 4 years now. It is getting to expensive so I decided to go back to my natural color which is a dark brown. The stylist stated it was between a level 6 and level 7. The first thing she did was colored my hair red and then had to put two coats of level 7 color in. The first color did not fully take so she put a second coat on. Once I left the salon my hair looked and still does look black. Now that it has been about a week now the red is starting to pull through. What should I do?
Answer Jenni,
Dark brown is a level 4. Unfortunatly the red she used is putting a wrench in it.
I suggest you keep shampooing for about a week 2x per day. Get some clarifing shampoo. Use the hotest water u can survive.
Write me back in a week. And if u can send a pic too, this would help.
Be patient-we will fix this.
