Hairstyling/From blonde to brown...

Question
Hi, for a while now I've been considering dying my hair brown - I'd like it to be a nice rich brown, one that will look good with my dark brown eyes but will work with my natural hair colour. I have dark blonde/ mousey brown hair. I want to dye my own hair, and I want to go semi-perminant (up to 6 weeks) so that I don't have to bother with the roots.  What I'm wondering is will my hair go ginger if I try to go brunette? And when the colour starts to fade, what colour will my hair be?

Thanks!

Answer
Kitty,
There is a great product for this. Its called Clairol Second Nature. Use 2 ounces of #138 + 1/2 ounce #142 + 1/4 ounce +155. Mix all this with equal amounts of 20 volume peroxide. Leave on for 30 minutes--no shorter.
Shampoo and condition. It might fade a bit but now u know a formula to use.
