Question
Hi Dana
Can you tell me what the difference is between the 3% and 6% peroxide developer from Goldwell's topchic line?  I want to buy the 3oz tube of 8K topchic color but don't know which peroxide lotion to get.
Thanks!
Colleen

Answer
Hiya Colleen,

Regardless of the color line 3% is 10 volume and 6% is 20 volume. 10 volume developer is designed to deposit color and in some cases give one level of lift. 20 volume developer will give you one to two levels of lift, unless you are covering gray, in which case you can use it for deposit only.

Unless you are a licensed stylist or a student, I don't think you can buy this product. Here's the link to the web site which may give you the information you need, depending on what you are wanting to achieve.

Good luck,

dana
