Question I have been losing hair for the past 6 months and I wonder if it is due to my haircoloring which is being done regualarly by my sylist. Can you tell me the best product on the market in haircoloring?
Answer Hiya Lucy,
If you are thinning, hair actually falling out at the root, it is unlikely that it is the hair color. If it is breakage, it's the stylist.
There are many excellent color lines and even the best of the best are no good if the stylist does not understand color. Currently, I am using Redken but I have used many different color lines successfully so to tell you just one wouldn't be particularly honest or objective on my part. But if your stylist is using a professional color line, the hair loss is probably something else.
Many factors affect hair and hair loss; stress, rapid weight loss; sudden change in routine or diet; thyroid; hormones; the list truly goes on and on. Discuss the problem with your stylist and have him/her check to see if it's breakage or loss. There is a big difference but it isn't always immediately evident.
Good luck,
dana
