Question I have recently moved to an eastern country with my husband. I currently have a wave nouveau. My hairdresser assured me I could do phase one of the process with no problem, forgoing the other two steps. I have been wearing a drawstring ponytail lately, which is what I'll be wearing for a while. I need to know if this information was correct and I could get by with doing only phase one, which will straighten my hair, and how often can I apply it. I know the standard is 2-3 months, but can it be applied any earlier. It's been 5 or 6 weeks since my last touchup. Thank you for your help.
Answer Hiya Deborah,
In general, you can do any chemical treatment once you have enough regrowth to apply the product without overlapping. Typically, that means at least an inch to an inch and a half.
As for using only step one; why would this even be necessary? My initial reaction is to say no. However, I have not tried it, and my normal response to this type of question is this; If there is any question at all about whether a product will work, the best course is to follow the manufacturer's directions. I am posting the link below to the company that makes Wave Nouveau. Before using just phase one, I would highly recommend talking to the manufacturer directly. They will be able to give you the most accurate information.
