Question
I wanted to get brown highlights so my stylist bleached my hair and put in a toner but my turned out orange with blondish highlights. I told her this was way too orange & light since I asked for brown highlights. She said we had to re bleach my hair and dye it brown but I did not want to bleach again because my was damaged. so she put a neutral brown over it which sounded ok but I ended up with uneven brownish streaks and a really light reddish tone. Is there anyway I can just get the reddish/orange tone out with it still being overall brown???

Answer
shawnte,
Im not sure what u mean by brown hilites.
There was a comunication problem with u and your colorist.
Sometimes its best to bring a magazine photo of what u want to a colorist.
The only thing to do is get back to your natural color.
Which i assume is med to drk brown.
Go to a beauty supply and buy some Clairol Second Nature
Use #138--2oz
      #139--1/2 oz
      #142--1/4 oz
      #155--2 caps full
Mix with equal amount of 20 vol
Apply all over and leave on for 35 mins
Rinse, shampoo and condition
