Question
Are you familiar with Ion products?  Are these considered professional products or not?  Do you know if the Ion Anti-chlorine line is good?  Thanks so much!

Answer
Hiya Joanne,

Yes, I am familiar with the Ion product line. No, they are not a professional line. It is considered an OTC (over the counter) product line. I have all my clients using Abba or Redken so I cannot answer your question faithfully about whether or not it works. It is designed specifically for that, of course, so it will be better than something that isn't designed to protect your hair from pools and sun, etc. but I honestly have no first hand experience with it. I have one client that uses Ion hairspray and I always have to clarify her hair before I can color it and it smells like play doh on her. But that is all I know.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
